 | | | | | Q: How does RentLine work? A: RentLine is a computerized database which is accessible through the Internet or via telephone. RentLine is a 'self-service' system, allowing anyone to quickly retrieve a list of currently available rentals in the city of their choice. You simply pick a city, and our computer system finds all of the rental listings we currently have in that community, and possibly some close by in adjacent cities.
Q: I can't find any listings for the city I have chosen. A: Did you spell the city correctly? Is it within the area serviced by RentLine? We serve mostly the greater Southern California area along with San Diego, Central California, Las Vegas, and major metropolitan areas in Arizona. We will be expanding to include selected cities in Washington and Oregon in 2002.
Q: I spelled the city correctly, and no rentals are found? A: If you have chosen a city we cover, then there just may not be any rentals available there at this time. (At least rentals we know of!) So try again in a few days or maybe a week, as we are updating our list every business day with newly available rentals.
Q: How do I find out more details on a listing? A: When you are on the page listing the rentals in a city, click on the address of the rental. Here you will find a detailed description of the property, as well as the phone numbers of the property owner or manager. You can contact them for additional information or to view the rental.
Q: How can I obtain rental information over the phone? A: RentLine is available via telephone from anywhere in the world, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Simply call one of our telephone numbers and pick a city. You will then hear descriptions of the rental properties. For a directory of numbers to call from your area code, dial our look-up number at (800) 789-RENT and follow the instructions. You will be provided with a phone number to call in the area code you requested. Most Southern California area codes are currently served by the RentLine voice listing service. The web covers many more cities than the phone service does .
Q: How do I find Houses? A: From the front page, click on the house icon. The listings shown will be all houses, guest houses and condos currently listed on the RentLine.
Q: Are there commercial listings? A: Yes! From the front page, click on the building icon for current commercial property listings.
Q: How do I know if pets are accepted? A: Most rentals which accept pets will state so in the description of the rental unit. These properties will be indicated in the margin next to the address. If you require more information, please call the phone number in the ad and ask the manager/owner.
Q: How do I find a furnished apartment? A: If a rental is furnished, it will say so in the description of the property. However, most rentals are unfurnished.
Q: How can I find out more about a certain city? A: Most cities have their own website these days, and we have compiled a list of many which are in the areas RentLine services. Have we missed something here???
